Born and Raised in Brazil, naturalized American.

Came to America, with her American husband, and lived in Phoenix for a couple of years. Her husbands work took them to Long Island, NY and Little Rock, AR where she studied cosmetology and then furthered her studies at Toni and Guy School in Dallas, TX. Lene worked at Dillards Salon in Little Rock and had the privilege to cut hair for the Dillards family.

Contiuing further studies, she accepted a job opportunity, as an assistant, for one of Little Rocks premire hair Stylist, Michael Thornberry. She had the honor of learning, hands on, the art and mastery of hair color for 2 straight years. She is certified with Alfaparf Color, an Italian high end color line, Brazilian Smoothing treatments, Brazilian Blowout and Keratin treatments.

Lene first arrived, with her family, in ABQ, NM, in 2008 and started working with Clinique where she abundantly learned skin care and make up; Moreover, she learned to appreciated every moment with her clients. During her stay in Albuquerque, she was actively involved with the Albuquerque-Brazilian Community, which many of the members liked their hair done by Lene for her unique styles, specialized curly hair, and her ability to create the perfect natural blondes.

Since the first stay in Albuquerue and after moving around a few more years with her husbands work, Lenes family decided to make Albuquerque their home. In 2011, Lene started working at Uniquely Elegant Salon.

Andrea has educational roots here in New Mexico and she is also a graduate of Vogue Academy of Santa Fe. She is advanced in listening to what her client wants, gives thorough professional consultation. She is certified using Alfaparf, an Italian high end color line,  Brazilian Smoothing treatment, and Brazilian Blowout in Albuquerque, NM.

Andrea learned how to truly be an artist/stylist from Joaquin Torres who worked on fashion shows in Hollywood and brought his unique style to the Plaza in Santa Fe. She is best known for her art in razor cutting and is phenomenal with cutting curly hair. She loves to make people leave feeling beautiful because she truly wants people to look and feel good about themselves.

She is artistic, talented, and a little mysterious. Her forte is having a vision for someone; the look, from make-up and hair, to fashion and style. Art and music bring her to life. Her charm and sense of humor make her fun to be around. Her talents make her successful. She is compassionate and makes her clients open up to her while feeling comfortable, beautiful and happy.

Amber is a local graduate of the CNM Cosmetology program.  She is certified for Brazilian smoothing treatments, and Brazilian Blowout.

Prior to Uniquely Elegant Salon, Amber worked with exclusively with Aveda color as well as Goldwell while training at an Aveda concept salon here in Albuquerque.  She is now fully trained to work with Alfaparf and she has mastered the art of cutting and coloring.  Her creativity is breathless and she loves to give her clients a style that they will enjoy. She is precise and is very detailed when cutting, as she takes time with her clients to give them the look that works best for them.
